Job Context:
∎ BLF is inviting to suitable candidates for Field Officer offering attractive salary package.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka City
∎ Job Location: Savar/ Keraniganj, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize issue-based meetings, conferences, mass gatherings, rally etc. and ensure participation of target groups;
∎ Undertake regular group visits and arrange meetings with community group and Trade Union to assist in ensuring participation of beneficiary communities in the program implementation and keeping their commitment for future maintenance;
∎ Assist the community to select their challenges/problems and to implement action plans properly;
∎ Validate the relevance of the interventions, the selection of beneficiaries, and identification of committed players and technical assistance;
∎ Assist the National Program Manager to propose and implement plans to reach the key populations and adjacent communities;
∎ Communicate with Head Office and others field-based stakeholders in regular basis;
∎ Prepare monthly report and maintained and updated all required documents/prescribed forms and send it to Head Office;
∎ Participate in monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly/half annual/annual meeting/other meetings as per need of Head Office of BLF;
∎ Collect required M&E data as per format and assist in collecting data as per requirement of the M&E Manager and report accordingly;
∎ Perform all activities in guidance with the BLF authority.
∎ Any other task assigned by the authority as per organizational need.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years' experience in same position in Development Organizations-preferably in NGOs
∎ Basic Computer skills especially MS Word, Excel with Bangla and English Typing skill
∎ Experience in working with workers and trade union will be given preference
∎ Ability to work independently and with team
∎ Ability to work under-pressure, meet deadlines, priorities workload and 'multi-task'
Salary: Negotiable
