Job Context:
∎ Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in collaboration with Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) is implementing an `Implementation Research to Scale-up and Evaluate the Impact of Antenatal Corticosteroids (ACS) on Preterm Newborn Outcomes` in Manikganj district. The objective of the study is to understand the challenges and opportunities in implementing the specific WHO criteria for ACS use, develop effective programmatic solutions, and apply them in LMIC contexts to achieve high coverage of safe ACS use in the context of improved childbirth and newborn care. We are seeking qualified and motivated Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Field Facilitator of the study
∎ Job Nature: Fixed term
∎ Duty Station: Manikganj District/Upazila, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with district manager for the preparation and implementation of the workplan in respect to specific deliverables and time frame of the study.
∎ Work with MOH&FW managers and providers, and other stakeholders for smooth implementation of study activities at district, upazila and below levels
∎ Arrange and conduct training for frontline health workers (FWA, HA, CHCP, etc.)
∎ Provide management support for the relevant training organized for the study
∎ Work as a team with other colleagues of the study.
∎ Ensure proper and optimum use of project logistics, including data forms, tab, laptop/desktop computer, etc.
∎ Maintain monthly field expenses and supporting documents, prepare and submit reports as required
∎ Support/Participate in meetings, trainings, seminars and workshops as required by the program and organization
∎ Support visits for internal and external visitors.
∎ Represent PRF as required and uphold values of the organization
∎ Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates having working experience in health program will be given preference
∎ Computer skill in MS word and excel
∎ Should be willing to work at night, including weekends and holidays (if needed)
Salary:
∎ 22,852/- per month including house rent and conveyance allowance and other admissible benefit
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 12% retirement fund contribution will be given as per organizational policy.
