Job Context:
∎ In partnership with Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), Efforts for Rural Advertisement (ERA) will implement the ``Community based Resilience, Women`s Empowerment and Action (CREA) Project`` at Biswambharpur Upazila with an aim to build resilience towards climate change impacts; build resistance against domestic violence and child marriage; empower vulnerable communities especially women and girls, to address the socio-economic effects of climate change at Sunamganj district. The 5 outcomes of the project are Outcome 1: Service providers both public and local government institutions are responsive, and increased access to the quality services of community specially women & girls, Outcome 2: Improved resilience of the most vulnerable coastal, char, hill, and haor communities to climate change impact, OUTCOME: 3 Empowered women and girls are dealing with inequality, social injustice, violence incidences and raised voices, OUTCOME: 4 Strong voices and decisions are in place against DVAW and child marriage and reduced the rate of child marriage, SRHR and DVAW in the selected climate vulnerable areas, OUTCOME: 5 Increased income & reduced time poverty . To achieve above mentioned outcomes Efforts for Rural Advertisement (ERA) is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
∎ The duration of the project is 3 years.
∎ Working station: Biswambharpur Upazilla, Sunamganj District.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate the formation and functioning of different project-supported community groups such as women's, youth groups, etc. in the community.
∎ Facilitate field-based training to the selected participants following the training module and guideline.
∎ Implement day to day activities according to proposal & plan in the selected community.
∎ Organize regular meetings of project-supported community groups as per the project plan of action and requirements of the project.
∎ Assist the project-supported community groups in keeping updated records during the implementation of the contracts.
∎ Mobilize communities to support household surveys, household selection at the community level.
∎ Facilitate the preparation of community action plans (CAP) by the communities and facilitate them to implement the plans.
∎ Support to develop business/IGA plan and monitoring of income generation activities for the potential beneficiaries in the community in accordance with project guidelines.
∎ Facilitate community-based awareness sessions as well as support peer groups to facilitate school awareness sessions as well as Organize day observance on disaster preparedness, and different day observations of the project team at the community level.
∎ Mobilize the community to organize mass awareness activities in the community.
∎ Conduct Community-based preparedness demonstration exercises considering specific hazards (e.g., floods, heatwaves, Lightning, Fire, etc.)
∎ Support to organize and facilitate meetings, training, and workshop at the community level.
∎ Support project-supported community groups to organize training sessions for community members, including the selection of participants, and ensuring that training is carried out in accordance with project guidelines.
∎ Assist the project team with monitoring and documentation of project activities including collection, compilation, and consolidation of data on project-related activities and maintaining relevant records.
∎ Ensure documentation including photographs of different meetings and events.
∎ Prepare monthly report and submit to line manager following the deadline mentioned in the implementation guideline of the project.
∎ Undertake any other work as requested by the line manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Prior working experience in Haor will be given preferences
∎ Right Based/SGBV/CGBV
∎ Participatory management
∎ Practicing gender, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
∎ Ability to address training needs with complete courses
∎ Outstanding communication skills and time-management abilities
∎ Training facilitation
∎ Good interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to work under pressure and tight schedule

Salary:
∎ Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
∎ Gross including all with 5% yearly increment.
