Job Context:
∎ In partnership with Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), Efforts for Rural Advertisement (ERA) will implement the ``Community based Resilience, Women`s Empowerment and Action (CREA) Project`` at Biswambharpur Upazila with an aim to build resilience towards climate change impacts; build resistance against domestic violence and child marriage; empower vulnerable communities especially women and girls, to address the socio-economic effects of climate change at Sunamganj district. The 5 outcomes of the project are Outcome 1: Service providers both public and local government institutions are responsive, and increased access to the quality services of community specially women & girls, Outcome 2: Improved resilience of the most vulnerable coastal, char, hill, and haor communities to climate change impact, OUTCOME: 3 Empowered women and girls are dealing with inequality, social injustice, violence incidences and raised voices, OUTCOME: 4 Strong voices and decisions are in place against DVAW and child marriage and reduced the rate of child marriage, SRHR and DVAW in the selected climate vulnerable areas, OUTCOME: 5 Increased income & reduced time poverty . To achieve above mentioned outcomes Efforts for Rural Advertisement (ERA) is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
∎ The duration of the project is 3 years.
∎ Working station: Biswambharpur Upazilla, Sunamganj District.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ PO will be responsible for arranging awareness, advocacy, training and other programs at union level. S/he will supervise FFs. S/he will be responsible for data validation from the field with support from FFs.
∎ Facilitate field-based training to the selected participants following the training module and guideline.
∎ Implement day to day activities according to proposal & plan in the selected community.
∎ Conduct survey for selection of the project beneficiaries' using prescribed format developed by project.
∎ Conduct training for the project beneficiaries and ensure inputs and other assets reached to the beneficiaries for proper and successful implementation.
∎ Provide technical advice and follow up of the homestead livelihood activities and demonstrations and project interventions by visiting the household regularly for effective implementation of the project activities.
∎ Develop plan for the various group member and provide regular follow up and technical support to implement the planned project interventions, particularly establishing homestead and field-based livelihood interventions.
∎ Ensure project related financial support to the beneficiaries are done properly with transparency and related data are kept up to date
∎ Support to prepare project report through supplying project related data
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 3 years of experience in working with community-based programs. S/he should have 1/2 years' experience to work with projects focused on climate change/livelihood/gender-based violence and governance/right based approach.
∎ Prior working experience in Haor will be given preferences.
∎ Right Based/SGBV/CGBV.
∎ Participatory management
∎ Proven experience as a team player
∎ Excellent Computer skills in MS office, and use of gadgets
∎ Practicing gender, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
∎ Ability to address training needs with complete courses
∎ Outstanding communication skills, excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Salary:
∎ Tk. 33000 (Monthly)
∎ Gross including all with 5% yearly increment.
