Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Development Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, or a relevant any discipline.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Must have at least 3 to 4 years of work experience in the relevant field.
Must have knowledge and experience in implementing projects related to livelihood development and climate change.
Skill on Computer and information technology will get priority.
Must be capable of conducting PRA, community mobilization and resource transfer activities.
Must have the mentality to work under pressure and be capable of completing work within the stipulated time.
Skill on motorcycle riding and have a valid driving license will get priority.
Agrogoti Sangstha, under the project titled “Marginalized women shaping a transformation grounded in climate and social justice in the climate-affected coastal regions of Bangladesh(SONGJOG)”, being implemented with the support of BMZ & NETZ Bangladesh, invites applications from qualified, experienced, honest and responsible candidates for the following position.
Duration: October 2026 – December 2029
Major Responsibilities
Select beneficiary at the village level and form groups and CSOs.
Assist group members in preparing Family Development Plans (FDP) and Business Development Plans (BDP).
Provide assistance in collecting productive assets/resources for the selected Households.
Purchase necessary materials following the organization’s policies and ensure proper distribution of resources / assets.
Organize and implement training on income-generating activities, health and hygiene, Climate Risk Management etc.
Provide technical assistance to increase the income and production of the targeted families.
Conduct weekly group meetings at the village level Group and CSO meetings at the union level.
Collecting weekly savings, preserve necessary documents, make regular household visits, maintain communication with local administration, and provide support to livestock/animal health workers as required.
Raise awareness among group members about climate change and its impacts.
Provide technical assistance to the Union Disaster Volunteers.
Prepare and submit regular reports according to the organization’s instructions.
