Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline (Agriculture/ Food & Nutrition/ Anthropology/ statistics)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist overall implementation of the Moringa research project,
∎ Conduct desk review to assist the research officer in designing the TOR, drafting research proposal, analytical frameworks, and a conceptual pathway etc.
∎ Participate in research project meetings and propose recommendations for procedure modifications and development in the areas of data management, quality control, and assurance,
∎ Oversee the collection, entry, verification, management, analysis, and reporting of data,
∎ Use statistical software to analyze data and interpret results,
∎ Ensure that the relevant research methodology is applied and all research material is handled in accordance with established protocols, policies, and procedures,
∎ Participate in the development of promotional strategies and related materials to encourage participation and support for research projects,
∎ Develop presentations and present information and training sessions to project personnel and project participants,
∎ Conduct structured project participant interviews and conduct literature searches,
∎ Oversee the extraction and compilation of data required for reports and disseminate data to research groups and collaborating partners,
∎ Keep project participants informed of project progress through regular reports and newsletters,
∎ Gather and compile information and data required for the preparation of scientific papers, abstracts, and graphs,
∎ Write, update, and archive data management and quality assurance plan,
∎ Perform data quality check, identify gaps and suggest corrective actions,
∎ Respond to comments/findings received from project personnel regarding relevant project issues and procedures,
∎ Design and maintain databases, data collection forms, error checking methods and related programs for efficient collection, analysis, and reporting,
∎ Modify and reconfigure databases to ensure the optimal storage of data and minimize data entry complexities,
∎ Troubleshoot moderately complex computer problems,
∎ Write data management and operations documentation for the project,
∎ Participate in research project meetings and propose recommendations for procedure modifications and development in the areas of data management, quality control, and assurance,
∎ Assist project to organize workshop, seminar, round table and symposium wherever possible,
∎ Maintain day to day liaison with strategic and technical partners of the project ( i.e. BAU, WV US and others),
∎ Assist research officer to ensure timely dissemination of research finding with wider community (humanitarian actors, ISCG, national level and regional level).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Strong engagement in both qualitative and quantitative research,
∎ Working experience in Rohingya Refugee context is highly preferable,
∎ Ability to plan and design research proposals and programmes using mixed methods,
∎ Strong writing skills and ability to write for different audiences - policymakers, media and for communities,
∎ Ability to lead enumerator teams in delivering large-scale projects,
∎ Ability to deliver large-scale, impactful research projects with high levels of autonomy,
∎ Extensive experience of stakeholder relationship management,
∎ Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills,
∎ Ability to stay organised, and juggle multiple priorities,
∎ Commitment to rigorous evidence based impartial analysis.

Salary: Negotiable
