Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ At least a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Communication, Development Studies, International Relations or any other related field
∎ Skills Required: Content writing, Copy writing/ Script Writing, editing and proof reading skills, News Editing, Social research
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Content writing, Copy writing/ Script Writing, Editing Content, Social research
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Context:
∎ The feature writer will be a key member of the program team working to produce stories that matter.
∎
∎ The position is flexible. Even though we prefer a full-time appointment, we will consider part-time positions and remote work opportunities for outstanding candidates.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Write original feature articles, scripts and human-interest stories about real-life issues
∎
∎ Analyse and extract relevant content from interviews, reports and other relevant documents to come up with in-depth and analytical articles, video scripts and other communication materials.
∎
∎ Review and edit articles to ensure that they adhere to C-CAB's style guide before publication
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Excellent command of the English language
∎
∎ At least three years of reporting or contributing to a reputable national/international media organisation or blog platform
∎
∎ A good understanding and familiarity with sustainable development issues, concepts and policies
∎
∎ Ability to analyse and communicate complex development ad human rights issues to a wide range of audiences
∎
∎ Excellent interview and research skills
∎
∎ Excellent writing and editing skills for in-depth and analytical feature articles
Salary: Negotiable
