Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The person will be required to carry out the Fashion Designing & Development functions of Woven garments. The incumbent should have the hands-on experience in the following functions:
∎ Handling the design and product development jobs for world-class fashion products with high knowledge of European market·
∎ Ensure the timely and successful design and development of products in line with the customers' requirement·
∎ Plan and carry out design and development functions in a way that ensures solid profitability and helps increase Company's market share as well as value.
∎ Researching latest fashion directions & trends in the market and competitor activities·
∎ Coordinate with key personnel involved in production of woven fabric, drawing and cutting patterns and constructing samples for finished garments·
∎ Review fashion magazines and manuals in order to gather information about fashion trends and consumer preferences·
∎ Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessories, and write specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements·
∎ Supervising the making up of sample garments and overseeing production·
∎ Planning and developing ranges and adapting existing designs for mass production
