One of the leading leading Turn-key solution provider of the Central Medical Gas Pipeline (MGPL) System and is one of the largest suppliers of Medical & Industrial Gases (Liquid and gaseous forms) providing organization of Bangladesh is looking for a Factory Manager/In-Charge for their factory.

The selected Candidate will have to perform these following duties;

Operational Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the compressed gas production facility in cylinders, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines to our depots & hospitals• Implement and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in production.

Production Oversight

• Supervise the production of compressed gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Nitrous Oxide and Acetylene.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards in gas production and compressed gas filling to cylinders.
• Manage raw material inventory and coordinate procurement with commercial wing and also suppliers.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to compressed gas production.• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Oversee the implementation of safety training programs for all factory staff.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, CGA, or equivalent).

Maintenance and Equipment Management

• Manage the maintenance and servicing of production equipment of Nitrous Oxide & Acetylene plant, including compressors, cryogenic tanks, and filling stations.
• Schedule and oversee regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate repairs and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.

Quality Control

• Establish and monitor quality control measures to ensure product purity and reliability.
• Oversee testing of gas samples in collaboration with the quality assurance team.
• Implement corrective actions in case of deviations from quality standards.

Staff Management

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production staff, engineers, and technicians.
• Develop work schedules, assign duties, and manage workforce performance.
• Facilitate training and development programs for staff to enhance skills and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Inventory and Logistics

• Oversee inventory management of raw materials, cylinders, and finished goods.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for the timely dispatch of products to clients.
• Optimize storage and handling of gases in compliance with safety guidelines.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and submit regular reports on production, safety, and operational metrics.
• Maintain records related to production, maintenance, and quality control for audits and inspections.
• Monitor energy consumption and suggest cost-saving measures.

Cost Management

• Monitor and manage factory operational budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Analyze production costs and implement strategies to improve profitability.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections or audits.
• Coordinate with sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle client inquiries regarding product specifications and delivery schedules.

Process Improvement

• Identify bottlenecks in production and recommend process improvements.• Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate new technologies or practices.

Crisis Management

• Lead response efforts during emergencies, such as equipment failure, gas leaks, or accidents.
• Ensure contingency plans are in place to minimize downtime.
