Responsibilities & Context:
Communicate and coordinate with buyers/merchandisers to understand requirements and ensure timely supply of garment accessories.
Source products and materials from reliable suppliers based on buyer specifications, quality standards, and cost requirements.
Receive purchase orders via email, review and cross-check with buyer requirements, and send timely acknowledgments.
Coordinate with the design team to prepare layouts; verify them against PO sheets and tech packs before submitting for buyer approval.
Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate execution of orders, maintain quality standards, and meet production timelines.
Place orders with production units and prepare Proforma Invoices (P/I); follow up with concerned parties for Letter of Credit (L/C) processing.
Manage sample development and re-development processes as per buyer feedback and requirements.
Maintain and organize records of all approved samples and related documentation.
Coordinate with the store department to prepare delivery challans and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
Monitor overall order progress, coordinate across departments, and ensure on-time delivery to buyers.
Prepare and submit monthly sales reports to management.
