Additional Requirements:

Sound knowledge of the VAT Act 2012 and Income Tax Act 2023.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Prepare and file monthly VAT returns as per NBR regulations.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with tax and VAT laws.
- Maintain all records related to VAT, Tax Challans, Mushak forms, and invoices.
- Assist in Tax and VAT audits conducted by regulatory authorities.
- Reconcile VAT ledgers with accounts payable/receivable systems.
- Handle withholding tax (AIT) and TDS deductions and submit returns timely.
- Liaise with advisors and other regulatory bodies as needed.
- Keep updated with changes in Tax and VAT laws and inform management.
