• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting

• Preferred Professional Certification on VAT

• At least 4 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Garments, Textile, Group of Companies, Spinning

• Age At least 25 years

Position Purpose

Jamuna Hi-Tech Spinning Mills Ltd. is looking for a candidate for the position of Executive- VAT. The candidate will be responsible for functional and development activities relating to VAT. Ensuring regulatory reporting within the stipulated timeline. Implementing effective VAT planning and ideas to VAT Act of the Business Unit.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain proper compliance as per the Bangladesh VAT Act.
• Ensure proper preparation and submission of Online VAT Returns.
• Auditing of VAT books of records.
• Engage with the VAT authority for submission.
• Hands on experience on VAT management software.
• Monitoring and Implementation of compliance as per VAT ACT 2012.
• Administering appeal, Tribunal at different appeal authority.
• Prepare all VAT papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests.
• Develop risk analysis and mitigation strategy from a compliance point of view.
• Keep up-to-date with all relevant changes in VAT regulations and other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management from time to time.
