Responsibilities & Context:
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with local regulations
• Maintain proper VAT records, registers, and documentation
• Handle customs-related documentation for import/export activities
• Coordinate with clearing & forwarding (C&F) agents for smooth customs clearance
• Ensure compliance with VAT and customs laws and company policies
• Monitor input-output VAT and ensure accurate calculations
• Assist in audits, assessments, and regulatory inspections
• Prepare reports related to VAT, tax, and customs activities
• Liaise with government authorities (NBR, Customs Office, etc.) when required
• Keep updated with changes in VAT and customs regulations
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management
