Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct daily onsite assessment in respective production areas as per environmental & chemical management standard (e.g., Green to Wear, ISO 14001:2015 etc.)
∎ Prepare the Environmental Management System (EMS) documents as per the Environmental Compliance requirements.
∎ Monitoring & record keeping of consumption of fossil fuel, purchase electricity, water & Setting strategies to reduce water consumption, energy consumption, GHG emissions & Air emissions in conjunction with all workers & staff.
∎ Conduct product chemical risk assessment on finish goods.
∎ Conduct alternative assessment to replace hazard chemicals/dyes.
∎ Prepare documentation for respective production areas for audit & certification purpose.
∎ Conduct internal audit in respective production areas to identify and resolve issues regarding environmental & chemical management as per standard & guideline.
∎ Conduct purchased raw chemical risk assessment as per buyer standard & send to 3rd party Lab testing if required.
∎ Ensure environmental policy & procedures to allow continual improvement, reduce risk & minimal impact on the environment.
∎ Collect SDS (Safety Data Sheet), TDS (Technical Data Sheet), CoA (Certificate of Analysis), Guarantee Letter & others relevant certificate from suppliers.
∎ Prepare Chemical Inventory List as per the requirement of different Buyers (H&M, C&A, INDITEX, GINATRICOT) independently & always keeping it updated.
∎ Check & monitor chemical stores activities to secure chemical purchase policy and procedure.
∎ Coordinate with SCM to develop new product and fulfil necessary documentations.
∎ Coordinating and implementing various ZDHC projects, HIGG index & STEP performance data as per buyers requirement.
∎ Conduct awareness training programs to workers along with top management on 3R policy, Water & Energy savings, Chemical handling, Environmental
∎ Management system.
∎ Ensure the safety of all chemical processes and Products in the company and also keep the factory area hazard free from chemical.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 32 years
∎ Candidate having working Experience with buyers like H&M, C&A & Inditex will given preference over others.
∎ Must have Experience on Clean Chain & GTW.
