Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting or BBA/MBA in Finance and Accounting;
∎ ITP Certification and VAT training (preferable)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Inventory/ Store Management, petty cash management, Tally Software, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), VAT and Tax
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Executing, monitoring and managing all Books of Accounts through Tally Software as well as Register;
∎ Maintaining all Books of Accounts related to Sales/Receivables etc.;
∎ Keeping Inventory records through Tally Software with proper inventory management system through maintaining financial books of accounts and statements in compliance with the requirements of the related bodies - Auditors (Internal & External), NBR (Tax purpose) and VAT authorities;
∎ Ensuring transactions duly comprised and classified in the ledger to aid in preparing the financial statements.
∎ Developing and controlling a centralized accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively managed;
∎ Ensuring proper compliance as per the Bangladesh Income Tax Law and VAT Act.
∎ Preparation of VAT-4.3,6.1, 6.2, 6.6;
∎ Issuance of VAT-6.3,6.7, 6.8;
∎ Calculation of VDS & TDS etc. and depositing to the Bank through treasury challan and AIT deduction;
∎ Preparation and submission of VAT Return;
∎ Responsible for all VAT related queries and filings in the right manner;
∎ Ensuring monthly TDS deduction from Suppliers;
∎ Providing TDS certificates deducted from suppliers;
∎ Preparation of monthly proper TDS, challans based on various heads of Income Tax and deposit so to the Govt. exchequer;
∎ Keeping the management up-to-date with all relevant changes in VAT /Tax regulations and their potential impact on the organization;
∎ Ensuring the measures that comply with all fiscal laws including Income Tax, VAT & Company Law;
∎ Factory Petty Cash & Inventory Management;
∎ Receiving and delivering materials properly as per documents;
∎ Preparing Monthly, Half yearly and annual inventory reports;
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Progressive experience in VAT, preferably in a large manufacturing company;
∎ Must have strong communication skill in English, both written and verbal;
∎ High standards of business ethics and professional conduct;
∎ Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
∎ Must have good interpersonal and negotiation skill;
∎ Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and especially Excel;
∎ Able to work independently;
