Experience:
Good understanding of spinning mill operations and manufacturing processes will be an advantage.

Ability to work independently and conduct factory visits/audits as required.

Ahmed Group, a reputed leading figure in the textile industry of Bangladesh is looking for experienced professional for the position of Executive / Sr. Executive (Internal Audit) for Head Office / Factory.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct regular internal audits of Head Office and factory operations to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Conduct operational and process audits across different departments, including Production, Store, Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, Utility, Quality, HR & Admin, Accounts & Finance, Commercial, Procurement and Security.
Review production records, raw material consumption, wastage, stock movement, inventory records and related supporting documents.
Verify physical stock of cotton, yarn, packing materials, spare parts, consumables and other inventory against system records and documents.
Review material receiving, issuing, transfer, return and adjustment procedures and identify discrepancies.
Monitor production-related records and analyze variances in raw material consumption, production output, waste, efficiency and loss.
Audit stores and inventory management systems to identify excess, shortage, slow-moving, obsolete or unauthorized stock.
Review purchase requisitions, purchase orders, quotations, bills, invoices and supporting documents to ensure proper authorization and compliance with company procedures.
Conduct surprise checks and physical verification of cash, inventory, fixed assets, machinery, tools and other company resources where required.
Review departmental processes to identify financial, operational, compliance and control risks.
Identify control weaknesses, irregularities, process gaps and potential fraud risks and recommend corrective measures.
Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, root causes, risks and recommendations.
Follow up on previous audit observations and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with concerned department/unit heads regarding audit observations and obtain necessary explanations and supporting documents.
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of audit working papers, checklists and supporting evidence.
Assist in developing and updating internal audit checklists, SOPs, control procedures and risk-based audit programs.
Analyze operational data and prepare management reports highlighting significant deviations and risk areas.
Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to company policies, applicable laws, rules and regulatory requirements.
Perform any other audit-related responsibilities assigned by management.
