Responsibilities & Context:

Job context: The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years of working experience in handling the IE-related functions of any reputed Garments Company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing the IE process of the company by preparing and presenting various production-related reports.

• Preparing daily operation bulletin and line layout.

• Follows up time- study, capacity study and production study.

• Fixing & monitoring line score sheets on an hourly output basis.

• Analyze individual operator`’ skill levels.

• Conduct time study and motion study and idle man, machine hours daily.

• Prepare monthly projection & labor cost analysis.

• Line feeding with sewing technicians and line supervisors.

• Set a base target, semi-critical & critical operations.

• Reviewing production plan with capacity & strength and ensuring timely shipment target.

• Preparing SMV-wise layout target.

• Ensuring optimum utilization of Man, Machine and Material.

• Review operators` skill levels (monthly) and ensure corrective action along with the training proposal for potential workers.

• Preparing assessment reports (quarterly) to use the same for personal and organizational development or improvement.

• Ensuring combined production reports.

• Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements and production standards.

• Conduct skill assessment of new operators, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development.

• Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of wastage.

• Ensuring effective communication with the planning department.

• Continuously follow up on bottlenecks report.

• Starting a new style after learning cap-wise production target fix.

• Head-to-head cost preparation/monitoring/follow-up.
