Responsibilities & Context:
Revenue Accounting
Process and verify sales reports from ticketing offices, travel agents, online portals, and cargo agents.
Record and reconcile passenger and cargo revenue transactions in the accounting system.
Ensure correct fare, tax, commission, and refund accounting.
Monitor interline billing and settlement (BSP, ARC, IATA clearing house).
Reconciliation & Reporting
Reconcile revenue collections with bank statements, sales reports, and system data.
Track outstanding amounts from agents and follow up on discrepancies.
Prepare periodic revenue reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review.
Audit & Compliance
Assist in internal and external audits related to revenue accounts.
Maintain proper documentation for all revenue transactions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.
Support & Coordination
Coordinate with sales, reservations, cargo, and finance teams to resolve revenue-related issues.
Provide support for system enhancements and process improvements in revenue accounting.
