Job Description:
Industry: Freight Forwarding and Logistics
Location: Dhaka Head Office
Responsibilities:
Ensure the accurate and timely movement of ocean freight to- and from specific locations within the service standards agreed with the Customer in compliance to country's requirement.
Handle all Customer / Vendor facing communication and shipment-related internal communication between/with Company stakeholders
Provide customers with proactive exception management in case of service quality deviations, including follow-up and problem resolution.
Generate Invoice and verify cost accruals are for all shipment-related charges within KPI timeline.
Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
Perform value-added task within the scope of the function to meet customer requirements and changes made in the operations process.
A good knowledge of export procedure, Banking L/C and International Incoterms system.
Create and manage ocean export documentation and prepare debit notes.
Ensure shipments are executed within timeline as per in-house SOP procedure.
Develop strategies to optimize freight management and reduce costs.
