Job Context:
∎ Candidate should have Experience in Environmental Compliance, Environmental Science, Health and Safety, EPZ Labor Law
∎ The Candidate should have at least 2 years work experience in Environmental Management System with large Garments Industry.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure compliance with environmental laws, safety regulations and industry standards and follow up sustainability audit, energy audit,
∎ Evaluate energy and sustainability opportunities, identity financial impacts and finalize energy and sustainability recommendation; develop, adopt, implement and monitor energy management & sustainability policy, standards, guidelines energy and sustainability program budget;
∎ Conduct general Risk Assessments and other Safety Assessments to support health, safety and environmental management;
∎ Develop sustainability design criteria and implement sustainability program in the factory, Monitor safe operating procedures and maintenance of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) as applicable.
∎ Develop and conduct required orientation, awareness & training related to compliance issues, hazardous chemicals and safety maintenance;
∎ Monitor, implement and update the activities of Chemical Management, Wastage, Water, Energy, Waste Water and other environmental issues;
∎ Prepare and implement corrective action plan (CAP) based on external, internal, first party & third-party social compliance audit. Maintain relevant EMS logs and documentation, prepare necessary reports & presentation;
∎ Follow up detailed incident investigations and carry out analysis of accident/incident statistics, identify trends and suggest improvement plans;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Sound knowledge in Environmental Compliance such as Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Waste Management, Chemical Storage, Environment Health and Safety (EMS), Disaster Management, Higg FEM & FSLM.
∎ Should have adequate training in environmental issues; Knowledge on BSCI & C-TPAT, Oeko-tex audit.
