• Sales and Business Development:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

• Identify new market opportunities and promote services to potential and existing clients.

• Manage and lead sales teams to monitor customer portfolios and identify growth opportunities.

• Client and Partner Management:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and other stakeholders.

• Act as the primary point of contact for commercial matters, ensuring clear communication with owners, charterers, brokers, and agents.

• Operations & Logistics:

• Plan and optimize the usage of shipping containers and allocate space on ships. .

• Monitor vessel movements, cargo tracking, and performance.

• Develop voyage estimates, compute voyage cost sheets, and maintain voyage records.

• Market Analysis & Strategy:

• Analyze market statistics and trends, reporting findings to management.

• Define sales strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and meet budgets.

• Negotiations & Contacts:

• Negotiate with charterers for outstanding payments like demurrage and off-hires.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and service providers.

• Financial & Administrative:

• Scrutinize and authorize all voyage accounts and disbursement accounts.

• Monitor and analyze the budget and performance of accounts to ensure competitive pricing.

• Maintain systematic and organized records of all shipments and related documents.
