Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform risk assessment of different hazardous chemicals and dyes used in the factory premises and identify control of hierarchy.
∎ To conduct Systematic analysis before introducing any new chemical/dyes/pigment in production process to secure MRSL
∎ Face & support the chemical management audit as well as all kind of audits like social & environmental audit for all units of DBL Group as all kind of audits has chemical management part.
∎ Making supportive documents as per buyer CoC and giving documentary & technical support during audit as well as instant buyer query. Make corrective action plan as per buyer & third-party audit report and follow-up this CAP for proper implementation
∎ Conduct chemical management & safety training like RSL, MSDS, Spill, chemical compatibility & basic safety regularly for every production unit.
∎ Responsible for implementing ZDHC program in all units of DBL Group.
∎ Follow up of operation of ETP and Effluent quality to ensure Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals.
∎ Identify and implement Hazard Communication through standard labeling and classification of chemicals and dyes in store & production floor.
∎ Follow-up chemical management documents like MSDS, TDS buyer RSL & MRL frequently.
∎ Chemical inventory for every unit have to be updated monthly and need to include new chemical in CIL as per buyer requirements.
∎ Closely work with production & purchase department to comply all chemical regarding MRSL if any noncompliance chemical is found according to In Check report
∎ Chemical management related policy & SOP need to be prepared, maintained & updated with time to time
∎ Conduct internal audit, Follow-up & visit production floor & storage area to find out noncompliance issue and support to overcome any noncompliance issue.
∎ Identify and implement hazard communication through standard labeling and classification of chemicals and dyes
∎ To develop and test 'Emergency Management Procedure' in case of spill or accidental release of chemicals and identify appropriate spill kits.
∎ To provide necessary guidelines as per standards to set up new chemical store.
∎ Lead the different chemical related sustainability project like PURE, BVE3, Detox & ZDHC
∎ Develop monthly training plan and training ;module and to ensure all involved employees are getting necessary training and awareness sessions on chemical management
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in similar position.
∎ Excellent team player, independent, positive attitude and result oriented.
∎ Enthusiastic to learn and honesty is must.
∎ Strong reporting skills maintaining software database such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
∎ Excellent communication in both written and speaking in English
∎ Willing to stay beside factory
