∎ Deep understanding of food trends, menu planning, and cost control.

∎ Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
∎ Must have basic computer knowledge.
∎ Must be well organized, honest, sincere and non-smoker.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design innovative and seasonal menus while considering customer preferences and trends.
∎ Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
∎ Source high-quality ingredients while maintaining cost efficiency.
∎ Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep staff.
∎ Establish and enforce kitchen procedures, recipes, and plating standards.
∎ Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
∎ Control food costs by managing portion sizes and reducing waste.
∎ Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely deliveries.
∎ Develop and manage kitchen budgets, ensuring profitability without compromising quality.
∎ Ensure the kitchen adheres to all food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP, local health codes, etc.)
∎ Work closely with front-of-house managers to ensure smooth service.
∎ Engage with customers for feedback and maintain a positive dining experience.
∎ Collaborate with marketing teams on menu promotions and special events.
∎ Menu Development & Food Quality:
