Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: - Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IAS and IFRS.
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support management decision-making.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing, reviewing, and providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Prepare daily bank reconciliation statements to ensure accuracy between bank balances and accounting records.
- Maintain and regularly update vendor master data in the accounting system.
- Monitor and manage cash flow through effective forecasting and control of payment schedules.
- Prepare, review, and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly accounts payable reports and financial closing.
- Record and recognize all supplier invoices on an accrual basis in compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure all payments are processed in compliance with the Delegation of Authority (DoA).
- Process payments accurately and on time, while addressing vendor inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.
- Deduct and deposit VDS and TDS in accordance with applicable laws, terms, and conditions.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies for accounts payable functions.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of accounts payable-related journal entries.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with overall business objectives
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
