Responsibilities & Context:
  • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IAS and IFRS.
  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support management decision-making.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing, reviewing, and providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Prepare daily bank reconciliation statements to ensure accuracy between bank balances and accounting records.
  • Maintain and regularly update vendor master data in the accounting system.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow through effective forecasting and control of payment schedules.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly accounts payable reports and financial closing.
  • Record and recognize all supplier invoices on an accrual basis in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure all payments are processed in compliance with the Delegation of Authority (DoA).
  • Process payments accurately and on time, while addressing vendor inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.
  • Deduct and deposit VDS and TDS in accordance with applicable laws, terms, and conditions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies for accounts payable functions.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of accounts payable-related journal entries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with overall business objectives
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
