Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as voucher preparation, journal entries, and ledger maintenance·
∎ Handle accounts payable and receivable, including institutional fees and Office expenses.
∎ Ensure timely processing of invoices, bills, and payments.
∎ Manage Bank Reconciliations and petty cash transactions.
∎ Maintain accurate financial records of the Institution.
∎ Ensuring all day to day implementation of program's finance related tasks.
∎ Proper fund management and issuance of bank cheque accordingly.
∎ Manage Accounting assistants and bookkeepers.
∎ Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements based on Organizational Needs.
∎ Financial Reporting: Receipts and Payments, Income and Expenditure, Cash flow Statement,Balance Sheet·
∎ Assist in preparing financial audits and compliance reports.
∎ Coordinate with Institution administration on financial planning and expenditure control.
∎ Prepare fund/ Cheque requisition for payment.
∎ Performing any other duty as directed by the Head of Finance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and institutional policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work collaboratively with the finance and administration teams.
