Experience:
Bachelor’s / Master’s in Event Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, or related field.
2–4 years of proven experience in event management, program coordination, or NGO/private sector project support.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Bangla.
Ability to manage multiple events/programs simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with event management software or digital tools will be an asset.
Knowledge/interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or climate change will be considered an advantage.

Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Association (BSREA) is the apex private sector body promoting sustainable and renewable energy in Bangladesh. Since 2011, BSREA has been working with government, development partners, and private stakeholders to accelerate clean energy deployment in the country.
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and energetic Event & Program Officer to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of BSREA’s events, programs, and member-focused initiatives.
Reports to: Executive Director
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination
Plan, organize, and coordinate conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, fairs, etc.
Liaise with the vendors, venues, media, and logistics providers for smooth event delivery.
Prepare event budgets, timelines, and checklists.
Ensure visibility and branding of BSREA events in collaboration with the Branding & Communication Officer.
Program & Project Support
Support the implementation of BSREA’s programs and donor-funded projects.
Assist in preparing project proposals, progress reports, and event documentation.
Coordinate with partners, stakeholders, and members for joint activities.
Member & Stakeholder Engagement
Support membership services through engagement programs and networking events.
Act as focal point for event participation of BSREA members.
Maintain a database of stakeholders and program participants.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, vendors, speakers, and event attendees.
Monitoring & Reporting
Draft event reports, meeting notes, and summaries for internal and external circulation.
Collect and analyze participant feedback to improve future programs.
Support donor and partner reporting requirements.
Collaborate with communications or marketing teams to promote events and programs effectively through newsletters, social media, and other channels.
