• 2-5 Years` proven work experience in relevant field in a reputed organization. Candidate from FMCG (food industry) will get preference.

• Good communication skills in both English and Bangla

• Recognize various species of insects that could potentially infest food products or processing. facilities. Destruction of rats and mice, including visits to premises to survey and lay baits and set traps for rodents.

• Focuses on preventing pest infestations through sanitation, facility design, and regular maintenance.

• Conduct regular inspections to monitor pest populations and assess the risk of infestation.

• Regularly monitor for signs of pests using traps, visual inspections, and other monitoring devices.

• Maintain detailed logs of pest sightings, control measures taken, and their effectiveness. Keep records of all pest control activities for audits and regulatory compliance.

• Design and implement integrated pest management (IPM) programs to control and prevent pest infestations using chemical, biological, and physical methods.

• Ensure that pest control practices meet food safety standards and comply with regulations such as the FDA, USDA, and other relevant authorities. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential contamination risks posed by insects in the food production process.

• Conduct research on the biology, behavior, and ecology of pests that could impact food processing and storage. Innovate and develop new pest control methods, focusing on reducing the use of chemicals and improving sustainability.

• Educate and train food processing staff on best practices for preventing and managing pest infestations. Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports on pest control activities, findings, and recommendations.

• Collaborate with process engineers to design facilities that minimize pest entry and harborage points.

• Coordinate pest control activities to minimize disruption to the production process.

• Ensure all pest control measures and records are up-to-date and in compliance with relevant food safety regulations.
