Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS)
∎ A master's degree in Social Science or equivalent
∎ Working experience at community based health project
∎ Extensive field visits in remote villages
∎ Ability to plan, organize project related activities
∎ Ability to prepare progress reports and present in the meetings
∎ Ability to cope under pressure and challenges
∎ Experience in supervisor role
∎ Excellent in writing and speaking English and Bangla
∎ Flexibility on working hours

∎ At least 1 year(s)

Administration, Coordination, Project Management/ Co-ordinator, Research Support

Job Context:
∎ Reporting to Clinical Team coordinator and Project coordinator
∎ Act as a supervisor for engagement activities.
∎ Work closely with finance and logistics
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with project leaders to integrate community engagement into the overall project plan.
∎ Assist Clinical Team coordinator to design, plan and implement project activities
∎ Supervise and lead a team of community engagement Group leader and project assistants.
∎ Prepare plan of activities and allocate the tasks to the engagement staff.
∎ Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure consistent and effective community outreach.
∎ Conduct training sessions for community engagement staff to enhance their skills in effective communication, cultural competence, and community interaction.
∎ Collaborate with local health authorities, NGOs, community leaders, and other stakeholders to build partnerships and enhance community engagement efforts.
∎ Develop communication plans to disseminate information about vaccination schedules, procedures, and project updates to the community.
∎ Manage resources allocated for community engagement activities, including budgets, materials, and staffing.
∎ Deliver information's on general knowledge on Malaria, study procedures and rationale of the Engagement.
∎ Address conflicts and challenges related to community engagement.
∎ Conduct any other activities related to project assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Cultural sensitivity and awareness of the diverse backgrounds within the community in Chittagong hill tracts.
∎ Ability to adapt communication strategies to resonate with different ethnic groups in Chittagong hill tracts
∎ Able to drive motor bike in remote hilly areas and have valid driving license
