Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and generator troubleshooting.
Experience with diesel, gasoline, and gas generators.
Knowledge of ATS, AMF, and generator control systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Proficient in using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers (Megger), and other electrical testing equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in generators and electrical systems.
Install, inspect, service, maintain, and repair diesel, gasoline, and gas-powered generators.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to maintenance schedules.
Conduct generator testing, load testing, and performance evaluations.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and AMF control panels.
Inspect and repair electrical wiring, control panels, circuit breakers, relays, contactors, switches, and protection systems.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Identify faulty electrical and mechanical components and replace them as required.
Respond promptly to emergency generator breakdowns and perform on-site repairs.
Ensure generators operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Perform engine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacement, coolant inspection, and battery maintenance.
Monitor generator performance and recommend repairs or upgrades when necessary.
Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and inspection checklists.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and workplace health and safety regulations.
Maintain tools, equipment, spare parts, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding technical findings, repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete maintenance and repair work efficiently.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new generator systems.
Train and provide technical guidance to junior technicians when required.
Be available for emergency call-outs, after-hours service, and preventive maintenance assignments.
