Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's/Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Environmental Science or equivalent) preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental management systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
∎ Implementing CDP/ESG requirements guided by customers.
∎ Conducting environmental assessments and audits, including air and water quality monitoring, ink/color management, and soil contamination assessments.
∎ Developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures, including chemical management plans, energy conservation plans, and pollution prevention programs.
∎ Monitoring and reporting on environmental performance, including tracking energy and water usage, waste reduction efforts and other environmental metrics.
∎ Coordinating and collaborating with other departments and external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, suppliers, customers to ensure environmental regulations and laws compliance.
∎ Educating and training employees, contractors, and other stakeholders on environmental issues and best practices.
∎ Investigating and addressing environmental complaints, violations, and incidents.
∎ Providing guidance and support for environmental impact assessments permit applications, and other regulatory requirements.
∎ Keeping updated with changes in environmental laws and regulations and ensuring that the organization complies with new regulations.
∎ Managing and monitoring major projects' environmental impacts and supporting project managers.
∎ Participating in emergency response activities, such as spills and other environmental incidents.
∎ Communicating regularly with management and other stakeholders, providing environmental performance and compliance updates.
∎ Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ All necessary certifications related to the field.
∎ 3+ years experience in running independently ISO/EHS as a lead auditor in a multi-national manufacturing organization.
∎ Experience in facing all certification audits
∎ Rotogravure / Flexo, Offset printing experience will be an advantage.
