Experience:
Master’s degree in computer science, ICT, electrical engineering or related field.
Knowledge of the local context in the Rohingya community.
Experience in implementing software platforms for Education Technology.
Sensitivity to cultural and diversity issues.
At least 2 years work experience in relevant role.
Fluency in relevant languages (e.g., Rohingya, English).
Direct supervisory oversight for the leadership and management of the following: Training, orientation to Staffs, Teachers & oversee the activities of LCs level. This is a Ukhiya Project Office based position.
Assist teachers, managers, and support staff to effectively use and implement education technology in the classroom for improving outcomes for students and supporting continuous personal development for staff. Deploy and support the use of education technology (including assistive technology) to improve learning, teaching, and conducting assessment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to design, develop, and deliver Educational Technology initiatives that align with the program needs. Write case studies, articles, and other publications about ICT for development project activities Support Educational Technology use through daily advising, collaborating, and training of teachers both in and out of the classroom. Develop and provide training to technical and program officers regarding educational technology interventions and fully utilizing the devices such as tablets. Regularly monitor the use of all edtech devices and track technical issues with different mechanism such as a mobile device management (MDM) platform. Develop and deploy implementation plans for technology-based projects such as the use of e-learning platform as well as other content management systems. Evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of current and future uses of Educational Technology Function as a liaison with UNICEF/ Donor to ensure seamless coordination of technology tools supporting curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Participate in relevant sector working groups such as the Technology Task Team to promote best practices and share lessons learned. Prepare monthly & quarterly community mobilization action plan & implement accordingly Address gender related barriers to technology use and capacity development Perform other duties as assigned by line manager
