Job Context:
∎ SAWAB (Social Agency for Welfare and Advancement in Bangladesh) is a non-political and non-profit voluntary organization involved in developing socio-economic conditions of the poorest and vulnerable population of the country. The current programs we are initiating to serve the humanity that include: Education (Formal and Non-Formal), Water and Sanitation, Health and Nutrition Program, Orphan and Child Care and Sponsorships, Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation (Flood and Cyclone response), Poverty Alleviation through Livelihood and Life Skill training, Climate Change Adaptation, Women Empowerment, and Family Development Program, Partnership and few occasional programs like Ramadan, Qurban, and Construction Program (Build a Mosque, Ablution place, Housing, Shelter School building, etc.). We are also working for Rohingya Refugees from 2017 and recently we are proactively supporting the Government`s initiative for the relocating Rohingya Refugees at Bhashan Char.
∎ We are looking forward to seeking some competent and qualified persons for the mentioned position.
∎ Job Location: Cox`s Bazar, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to introduce the concerned person, build up relation and arrange to sign on MOU for partnership of INGOs in Dhaka & Cox's Bazar for fund Collection
∎ Communicate with the INGOs and donor agencies in Dhaka & Cox's Bazar and make a list of the organizations & donors.
∎ Prepare a plan for networking and lobbying.
∎ Prepare monthly plan and working checklist.
∎ Develop and implement the staff development program, training schedule for new volunteers, develop appropriate tools and methods to build organizational and strong teams.
∎ Documenting the best popular practices in the development of the community, preparing sets of necessary materials and submission of reports as per the situation, handling correspondence, drafting the reports and evaluations.
∎ Provide report on daily basis maintaining coordination and facilitate other regarding the activities of SAWAB.
∎ Scheduling meetings with local NGOs, arranging conference calls, making travel arrangements, planning and organizing workshops to identify their needs for development and training.
∎ Motivate other NGOs, community welfare workers in the case of non-availability during natural disasters like flood, tornadoes, etc.
∎ Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities.
∎ Ensure implementation of policies and practices.
∎ Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions.
∎ Manage communications through media relations, social media etc.
∎ Maintain liaison with the local administration (UNO, DC & Others).
∎ Help to build positive relations within the team and external parties.
∎ Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda.
∎ Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
∎ Prepare paperwork and order material.
∎ Keep updated records and create reports or proposals.
∎ Support growth and program development.
∎ Have to conduct and complete all the activities of In Kind gift program such as unloading, preserving, carrying and distribution of all goods.
∎ Take preparation to collect ZAKAT Fund and prepare plan regarding this issue.
∎ Play an important role to develop the volunteer program, form a smart team who are available and give direction them to do different social welfare activities.
∎ Provide new idea to SAWAB, learn work by own self and visit different offices weekly basis.
∎ To attend any running training course and cooperate HR department in this regard.
∎ Achieve quality and strategy for communicating with the ordinary people in the society.
∎ Any other jobs assigned when required by SAWAB management.

Salary:
∎ Salary: 27,000/- to 35,000/- (Negotiable)
