Job Context:
∎ The Officer will be based on field office assisting the Project Manager to ensure the quality, efficient and effective delivery of project activities. The position will responsible for the direct field implementation of all kinds of activities. Assist to Project Manager to do including the liaison with the Government Department & donor, liaison with other WVB projects to ensure the services are well integrated and well-coordinated.
∎ The Officer will support the project personnel to mainstream disability during the design/redesign phase including advice on resourcing, data collection and analysis, M&E for appropriate tools development and information dissemination. The Officer will work closely and assist the Manager to establish humanitarian accountability feedback mechanisms in all activities. The Officer will assist the PM to ensure that all monitoring systems are in place and are functional, and that the feedback from the monitoring system is being utilized to improve program implementation. The Officer will assist PM for documenting success stories from group/individual and works closely with the Communications and Advocacy to report on the success stories.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in the efficient and effective delivery of project’s services
∎ o Disability assessment and planning for address different events & activities
∎ o To oversee the running different project activities considering disability
∎ o To create, develop and manage the disability strategic directions by the project management &donors.
∎ o Organize and deliver regular disability reporting and case studies
∎ o Ensure that all level of disability access and facilitate for mainstreaming
∎ o To create awareness about law of disability, 2013.
∎ o Planning and implementation in disability inclusion activity.
∎ o Capacity building of staff and participants
∎ o Support Programmes to mainstream disability as they develop proposals.
∎ o Promote inclusive approaches to ensure full and active participation of older people and persons with disabilities.
∎ Assist the PM in overseeing the implementation of MEAL structures and system for the project
∎ o Assist the PM in working with the MEAL team to develop the MEAL structures and system.
∎ o Assist the PM to ensure that feedback from HA structures and system and feedback from Monitoring systems is used to improve the quality and implementation of the interventions.
∎ o Assist the PM to update partners, and relevant stakeholders on required DME process, standard and systems. Support project personnel to mainstream disability during the design/redesign phase including advice on resourcing, data collection and analysis, M&E and appropriate tools and information.
∎ o Data analysis and collection on age, gender and disability (using Washington Group questions).
∎ Assist in Coordination and integration of other WV services
∎ o Collaboration/strengthening of working groups and local disability organizations.
∎ o Assist the PM in developing the schedules for integrated services / activities to improve the impact of WVB emergency response programs.
∎ o Ensure integration and collaboration with colleagues undertaking advocacy to achieve strategic objectives and priorities such as improving access to education.
∎ o Interact, build and nurture effective working relationships with relevant partners to foster coordination, collaboration and partnership relating to disability inclusion
∎ o Build an inclusive environment and adhere to organization’s Child Protection policy and standards and stay committed to the organization’s vision statement and core values.
∎ o Effective coordination with GO, NGOs, UPs, Donors and relevant stakeholders.
∎ Assist the PM in Reporting and Accounting
∎ o Assist the PM for reporting and tracking all commodities, non-food items and inputs for the BnFs.
∎ o Assist the PM for internal weekly, monthly and quarterly donor reporting.
∎ o Assist the PM in working in collaboration with the Communications Unit to document success stories.
∎ o Advocacy, Networking and Liaison with different stakeholder and strategic partners.
∎ o Share the update project information and receive necessary feedback/suggestion to implement the project effectively.
∎ o Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly work plan & reports to accomplish the targeted project activities.
∎ Assist the PM to ensure Sustainability and Exit Strategy
∎ Assist the PM to Lead the sustainability and exit strategy discussions with the Community / Government Leaders and World Vision Sectors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in food assistance or cash distribution management
∎ Experience in field monitoring, targeting and selection of vulnerable population
∎ Reporting and accounting experience needed
∎ Experience in project implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing useful.
∎ Good in communication, interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity.
∎ Effective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a high standard of English and Local Language (preferable).
∎ Experience working in an office environment and able to use a computer (word for windows, excel software) and email is essential.
∎ Good time management and organizational skills
∎ Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs
∎ Good analytical skill
∎ Creativity and innovation
∎ Have a working knowledge of social and community psychosocial and rehabilitation approaches to assist in building up community and home-based care support.
∎ Supporting the development of a case management approach, that includes documenting work/activities in a care plan and setting up effective referral mechanisms or pathways to other service providers.
