Job Context:
∎ In order to create efficient and quality technologists for the Country, Saic Group operates Saic Institute of Medical Technology (SIMT). In the first year of its journey, students were able to get admitted in all approved seats. Later, the numbers of seats were increased gradually from the 2006-2007 academic year. Currently, in the 2018-19 academic years; eleven (11) divisions and 779 seats have been upgraded and students are allowed to enroll in approved seats. The Institution has its own 10-storey building and digital campus with all the modern and international quality facilities which is rare in this country. In the last few years, SIMT has become one of the best medical institutes among the private and public institutes. Diploma in Medical Technology course has been introduced in SIMT for creating skilled and qualified medical technicians (technologists).

∎ The Director is responsible for organizing and overseeing the theoretical and practical classes that are taking place on day to day basis; the overall academic activity and daily operational and administrative activities of the Institution. He manages staff and budgets, communicate between the departments and ensure classes are taking place smoothly. To ensure academic success of the students, the Director should be confident and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills that will contribute to the efficient functioning of the Institution. The Director will have to work well under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to emergency situations.

∎ To assist the Managing Director (MD) in managing and administrating the inclusive activities of Medical, Nursing, Engineering and Technical & Vocational Training Program in line with the Saic Group strategies, policies and programs agreed upon and approved by the Authority of Saic Group.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To Oversee the overall Management and Administration of line functions; the Medical, Nursing, Engineering Education and Technical & Vocational Training Program.
∎ To ensure effective performance of Education and Training Program of Medical, Nursing, Engineering Education and Technical & Vocational Training Program.
∎ To follow the standard of related authority to ensure quality education and training as per need of job market and successive quality improvements of programs and gainful employments of respective Region graduates.
∎ To carry out any other tasks assigned by the Saic authority as and when required.
∎ To assist and advise the Managing Director in all matters related to administration, recruitment, staff training & development, strategies of Saic Campus.
∎ To take the strategies to implementation of different Provided Task ( HR Related, Job Placement Related, Promotion Related, Account/Finance Related/ Administration Related etc) by Saic Head office.
∎ To prepare and implement plans for fund raising / income generation, leading towards financial sustainability of the organization.
∎ To liaise with the authorities in Public, Private and NGO sectors, nationally and internationally to advance Saic Group as well as respective Campus image and achieve effective networking
∎ To carry out any other tasks assigned by the Saic Group authority as and when required.
