∎ Summary:
∎ The Digital Health Officer will support digital health manager in managing digital health activities and implementation of digital health plan. This will include technical documentation of digital health interventions, development of training manual, coordinate training activities, and maintain liaison for timely development and deployment of tools.
∎ Pathfinder is seeking a Digital Health Officer candidate for the USAID Accelerating Universal Access to Family Planning (AUAFP) project. The project focuses on two interlinked components: 1) increasing qualified family planning workforce and 2) increasing availability of public sector family planning outreach contacts and services considering the communication preferences of the different cohorts of adolescents and youth. The project will support the MOHFW to serve individuals and communities most in need of quality family planning services and information-districts and divisions with lower family planning use and populations facing the greatest access barriers, such as adolescents and youth, newlyweds, first-time parents, and postpartum, post-abortion care, and post-menstrual regulation clients. The project provides adaptive, needs driven technical assistance at national, divisional, district, and Upazila level to the MOHFW in 4 Divisions: Chattogram, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaboration: Work with the different teams for SBCC content management, preparation of communication tools, development of e-learning modules, curation of data/content and its integration into different digital health platform
∎ Engagement: Work with external resources and internal team for BCC material, communication material, and technical documentation of eHealth interventions under the project.
∎ Liaison: Work with team members and relevant staff at HQ to contribute to the design, assessments, and plans of eHealth and mHealth interventions; liaising with other technical and M&E staff
∎ Capacity Building: Work with different team and government counterparts to coordinate and conduct training of health service providers and other technical stuff on eHealth tools
∎ Design: Work with team members to design and develop data dashboards on topics including but not limited to mHealth and eHealth tools for monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Reporting: Produce regular reports that can be shared across Pathfinder digital health implementing countries and actively participate in the Pathfinder community of practice.
∎ Other: Support on other mHealth related strategy and projects, as needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimally Required Job-Specific Competencies:
∎ Well understanding on national eHealth/mHealth landscape and/or research.
∎ Knowledge of family planning and reproductive health principles, BCC, practices and services of programs, including program strategies and indicators, and the latest professional developments in SRHR.
∎ Experience working with digital tools and technologies across wide range of stakeholders
∎ Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
∎ Excellent written, verbal communication in both Bangla & English. Interpersonal and cross-cultural communications skill is preferred.
∎ Demonstrable skills in facilitation, conduction, and coordination of training
∎ Ability to manage multiple initiatives within timeframe

∎ Languages: Proven ability to write and speak using Bangla and English language.

∎ Minimally Required Education, Training and Experience:
∎ Minimum 3 years' experience of working with "Digital Health" initiatives; preferably related to BCC for adolescents and youth SRH and FP
∎ Experience with USAID-funded health or development programs
