∎ Now ICCO is looking for a suitable person for the position of Digital Data Officer (DDO) to implement its `Food Distribution` project. The DDO will develop, maintain and support web-based and/or mobile-based data management tools and systems, as well as proper documentation of data. S/he is an individual, committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in managing relations with the staff members, supervisors and two-way communication, based on mutual trust and respect.
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Fixed Term Contract
∎ The position will be field based in Ukhiya/Teknaf of Cox`s Bazar district
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work some overtime hours.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
∎ Yearly renewable contract based on fund availability and performance.
∎ Key contacts:
∎ Monitoring Expert will provide technical support and guidance to the holder of this position. Digital Data Officer maintains a functional/productive relationship with HR, Finance and Communication teams and other projects of the organization, donors, GoB-NGOs stakeholders, participants, counterparts and liaison with other official as appropriate

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility # 1: Database Management
∎ Fully understand the program and its strategies
∎ Develop and maintain project's comprehensive Data Management System
∎ Develop data management tools/checklist to support project deliverables smoothly & correctly
∎ Assist PMEL/PM in preparing program reports by providing necessary data/ information
∎ Ensure daily data tracking (voucher distribution, market price, food distribution) in collaboration with camp coordinator and community mobilizers,
∎ Monitor data entry procedures
∎ Ensure compliance with data quality standards and maintain a fully auditable data track for all MEAL indicator figures that are reported
∎ Troubleshoot the database/data collection software
∎ Ensure the information protection and backed-up system
∎ Responsibility # 2: Liaison & Partnership
∎ Represent organization and projects in different forums
∎ Coordinate and support to carry-out specific activities e.g. baseline, beneficiary survey, evaluation etc
∎ Assist to conduct baseline, Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM), evaluation, annual survey and reporting.
∎ Responsibility # 3: Documentation and reporting
∎ Regular field visit for data validation and data collection
∎ Prepare and submit monthly report and quarterly report
∎ Assist PM/ M&E in preparing different reports as and when required
∎ Responsibility # 4: Capacity Building and work environment
∎ Conduct trainings on data management for project staff
∎ Contribute in ensuring enabling work environment
∎ Enhance team bondage and team spirit

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years work experience in M&E and/or MIS
∎ Work experience in Rohingya emergency response will be given advantage.
∎ Experience with computer-based databases (MSSQL Server, MS Access, SPSS/STATA etc.)
∎ Advance working knowledge on software programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ODK, KOBO, Akvo flow etc.) and advance comprehension of spreadsheet
∎ Programming knowledge for web development and mobile based programming
∎ Knowledge and experience on basic statistics and research methodology and report writing
∎ Strong skills in networking and liaison with local counterparts
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla
∎ Ability to cope up and mix with multicultural people and multi-tasks
