Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ Graduation in Marketing/Merchandising/Sales will give preference.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Graduation in Clothing, Textile Merchandising or related discipline preferred.
∎ Skills Required: MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ OneNote
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Business development, Buyer Handling, Corporate sales and Marketing, International Marketing, Merchandising, Target Achieveing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments, Spinning, Textile, Sweater Industry, Tannery/Footwear
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish and enhance long-term business relationship with customers through provision of quality customer service to maximize business growth.
∎ Supervise the team's merchandising activities in the entire order process to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
∎ Provide advice and suggestions on product design to meet customer's buying objectives.
∎ Supervise he team to enhance service delivery and operation efficiency.
∎ Build and maintain a strong vendor network for product development and production.
∎ Handle purchasing yarn related.
∎ Work/liaise independently with suppliers from overseas.
∎ Identify potential vendors and materials for product design and development.
∎ Research and identify suitable product and market trends.
∎ Lead a team of merchandisers.
∎ Perform other duties assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong product and material knowledge with good development skill, and familiar with merchandising and product development process.
∎ Ability to build strong relationships with the team as a good team leader, communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
∎ Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem-solving skills, able to meet deadlines.
∎ Proficient in English (Written and spoken)
∎ Knowledge in MS office programs.
