B.Sc in Textile Engineering/ MBA in Marketing or equivalent

• Age 40 to 50 years

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 10 Years experience as General Manager or equivalent top position in a large woven factory.

Skills Required:

• Ability to work under pressure, Project Management, Strong Leadership and team management skills.
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Production, Quality Control/ Audit, Inspection, Floor/ Line Management, Health/ Safety & Fire, Planning, Quality Inspection, & Sample.
• Should be technically sound to coordinate production of Woven Garments (Tops & Bottom)

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bengali.
• Good Computer skills (e-mail, word, excel)
• Pleasant and polite personality.
• Ability to work in a team with a strong focus on results.
• Good analytical ability and problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal relations.
• Preference will be given to the highly experienced person.

• Responsible for daily production and work to achieve daily production targets with buyer-required quality standards.
• Develop and implement production plans and schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and production capacity. Coordinate with other departments, such as design, sourcing, and merchandising, to ensure smooth production flow.
• Manage and optimize resources, including manpower, machinery, materials, and production facilities, to achieve production targets and minimize costs. Allocate resources effectively to meet production requirements and resolve resource constraints or bottlenecks.
• Regularly monitor and track production progress, productivity levels, and efficiency metrics. Identify areas for improvement, such as process optimization, workflow enhancements, and automation, to increase production capacity and reduce lead times.
• Monitor production costs and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or efficiency. Analyze production budgets, track expenditures, and report on variances.
• Continuously evaluate production processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Introduce and implement best practices, lean manufacturing principles, and new technologies to enhance production efficiency and competitiveness.
• Lead and supervise a production team, including production managers, supervisors, and line workers. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a motivated and skilled workforce. Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, merchandising, sales, and logistics, procurement to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the production cycle. Provide regular updates to top management on production performance, issues, and achievements.
• Responsible for operation and operational staff control and management.
• Work for 100% capacity utilization and waste reduction.
• Manage all tasks for smooth production, smooth final inspection pass and on-time shipment.
• Closely monitor the cutting, sewing and finishing sections to get the best possible output and give direction to the floor.
• Led in the Setup of the sewing line, checking consumption, costing and inventory.
• Lead all production staff from the front and have a good command of them.
• Ensure complete tasks to make finished goods from raw materials.
• Communicate with the merchandising team and solve every production-related issue involving merchandising.
• Achieve maximum production at the lowest cost.
• Directly communicating with Buyers with fluent conversation.
• Giving feedback to garments Buyer and Buyer QC.
• Communicate with top management directly as and when required regarding any issues of the factory.
