Responsibilities & Context:
  • To increase the business and profitability by marketing / selling relevant products to customers through effective networking, aggressive market penetration and product value propositions in the targeted segments to create new corporate clients.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets for cement sales.

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team.

  • Delivering of sales pitches and presentations to clients where they highlight the benefits their products offer to customers and encourage them to make a purchase.

  • To achieve reasonably big sales target set by the management.

  • Ensuring that the departmental objective and marketing activities conform to the sales target.

  • Researching and identifying sales opportunity, generating leads, target identification and classification.

  • Understanding the client requirements and maintaining relationship with all potential and existing clients.

  • Ensuring after sales support to clients.

  • To be watchful on competitors` activities, prices, programs and report to the management regularly.

  • Initiate activities to boost sales and branding of company`s product.

  • To maintain a team of sales personnel of the assigned sales area and make them ready by training and motivating them to achieve the sales target.

  • Manage and motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives.

  • Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions.

  • Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors and key stakeholders.

  • Ensure sales targets are met and take proactive measures to improve performance.

  • Data reporting to management and gathering market intelligence.

  • Any other related task as assigned by the top management.
