∎ Strong sense of accountability, personal initiative, and responsibility.Excellent interpersonal skills, including flexibility and a sense of humor
∎ Experience participating in fundraising with individuals, volunteers and/or alumni across the donor lifecycle including the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donations
∎ Understanding and application of best practices in donor-centered fundraising
∎ The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with presentation, leadership and organizational skills
∎ Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to build respectful relationships with colleagues from different cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
∎ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced well reputed organization in public health and development sectors
∎ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage development efforts focused on annual and general operating funds with a specific focus on funding organizations /volunteers including UN-bodies and other institutional donors
∎ Maintain and update timelines of the development department including report deadlines, institutional funding cycles, event production plans, as well as, improvement plans
∎ Establish partnership with other communications and fundraising staff on the development of materials by contributing to writing, subject matter research and budget development as needed
∎ Identify, qualify and recommend individuals for increased organizational engagement including participation in development activities, hosting an event on behalf of the organization
∎ Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all educational/ promotional materials used in the field level activities
∎ Participate in meetings and events with donors and prospective funders, representing Hope Foundation's strategies, impact and opportunities for increased philanthropic support
∎ Responsible for creating informative contents, press release, article and media opportunities to share Hope Foundation's brand. Prepare detailed media activity reports when and as needed.
