Position: Desk Reporter and Mobile Journalist

Location: Gulfesha Plaza (10th Floor), Moghbazar, Dhaka

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Journalists both Desk Reporter and MOJO Reporter. The ideal candidate must have a strong interest in current affairs, voiceover ability, and be capable of shooting videos and publishing news on our website. This is a great opportunity for a fresh graduate in Media and Journalism to gain real-world newsroom experience and develop professional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Desk Reporting:

• Monitor national and international news trends.

• Research and write news articles, features, and updates on current topics.

• Edit and proofread content for accuracy and clarity.

• Publish news stories, headlines, and multimedia content to website.

Field Reporting:

• Cover live events, press conferences, and breaking news on the ground.

• Conduct interviews and gather information directly from sources.

• Shoot high-quality video footage and capture relevant visuals as needed.

• File field reports and collaborate with video editor

Voiceover & Multimedia:

• Deliver voiceovers for video news stories, feature reports, and social media clips.

• Work closely with video editors to ensure smooth integration of narration and visuals.

• Maintain a professional tone and clear delivery.

Social Media Publishing:

• Upload news stories, short videos, and updates to the Facebook, YouTube and other platforms.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Stay updated on recent developments in Bangladesh and around the world.

• Propose news angles and story ideas relevant to current affairs.

• Ensure all content follows ethical journalism standards and organizational guidelines.
