  • Strong administrative, coordination, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prepare official documents, reports, and records.

  • Proficiency in computer applications and office management systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Administrative expertise will be an advantage.

  • Integrity, leadership, and a high sense of responsibility.

Job Context

Central University of Science & Technology (CUST) invites applications from qualified, experienced, and dedicated professionals for the position of Deputy Registrar to support and manage the university’s academic and administrative operations in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Registrar in overall academic and administrative management

  • Implement university statutes, ordinances, rules, and regulations

  • Coordinate academic records, faculty affairs, and administrative documentation

  • Prepare and maintain official notices, circulars, reports, and correspondence

  • Support admission, examination, convocation, and academic council activities

  • Maintain personnel records and official files

  • Liaise with academic departments, offices, and regulatory bodies (UGC, etc.)

  • Supervise administrative staff and ensure smooth office operations

  • Ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory guidelines

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the university authority
