Job Context:
∎ The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities of `Deputy Project Manager- Shelter & Site Development` for the `UNHCR - Shelter project` to ensure the effective implementation of Shelter interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. To monitor the overall work progress of repairing and maintaining temporary shelters as well as monitoring the site development activities to maintain proper coordination between Manager-Shelter & Site Development and the Camp Manager.
∎ Being an implementation partner of UNHCR, the organization is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Improved Shelter Services in the respective working area.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2023.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead all Camp Managers under his territory in Planning & implementation of the shelter, site development, and other activities at the field level as per instruction of Manager-Shelter & Site Development.
∎ Closely work with the Camp Manager- Shelter & Site Development and supervise him/her according to the activity flow, target, compliance, and other relevant issues.
∎ Effective Coordination with all relevant stakeholders and shelter actors (CIC, UN agencies, Inter Sector Coordination Group-ISCG, UNHCR Shelter Team, Government agencies, INGOs, and local and international partners) for positioning the organization as the key leading agency for the shelter response.
∎ Closely supervise the Warehouse and inventory management of Warehouse and Distribution points.
∎ Keep track and analyze the distribution tracking table, stock report, Kobo reporting, etc. periodically for smooth development in the activity maintaining all compliance.
∎ Cooperating camp unit in expediting finance, admin, HR and other PMU-related support.
∎ Monitor the activity advancement through regular visits and prepare the activity reports.
∎ Propose solutions or improvements for better performance of the activities without any harm to the environment.
∎ Regular Monitoring of the activity of the construction work.
∎ Preparing the detailed work plan for the construction work and implementing as well as per the target of the project.
∎ Validate all reports produced from camps under his/her supervision.
∎ Regularly monitor the site development activities at the field level.
∎ Prepare monitoring tools according to the project indicators.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in shelter and site development projects.
∎ At least three years of experience in shelter and site development projects in the Rohingya Response of Cox's Bazar with a total experience of five years after Graduation.
∎ Minimum two years of experience in a managerial position.
∎ Experience in Team Management, Conflict Resolution, Budgeting, communication, researching, writing, monitoring, and evaluating, auditing, project management, and project implementation.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and AutoCAD)
∎ Good communication and networking skills both in Bangla & English Fluency in the Local language will get preferences.

Salary: Tk. 102000 (Monthly)
