∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Accounting/Finance
∎ Training/Trade Course: Supply Chain Management
∎ Skills Required: Commercial, Foreign procurement, Purchase, VAT and Tax

∎ 5 to 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Foreign Procurement: Supervise all commercial activities (e.g., Issuance of PO & PI, Letter of Credit (LC) opening /Telegraphic Transfer (TT) for Export, Import and Local documentation & transaction support, amendment /correction of documentation, Collecting Insurance, Export proceeds realization and import permit etc.
∎ Effective Bill of Entry (BoE) negotiation by ensuring appropriate HS codes in the documentation and following the fight Statutory Regulatory Orders (SRO), with timely clearing of goods by paying appropriate amounts of Taxes & duties.
∎ Must have good knowledge in shipping documents, project insurance and ministry clearance of government project's consignment.
∎ Co-coordinating and maintaining proper liaison with suppliers/vendors, customs authority, concerned banks, C&F agents, trade bodies, Shipping lines, and Logistics companies to carry out smooth business operations.
∎ Able to handle different type of L/Cs sight, UPAS LC, transferrable, back-to-back with payment terms, Add. Confirmation etc.
∎ Maintain customs process for goods clearing and transportation against Import & Export, Deal with customs authority along with proper analysis of customs duty and deal with DEDO (Duty Exemption and Drawback Office).
∎ Obtaining the approval & finalize with vendors and release of purchase orders Develop inventory planning and to maintain optimum inventory stock.
∎ Experience in dealing with different government utility sectors e.g., PGCB, BPDB, EGCB, BREB, DPDC, DESCO, WZPDCL, NESCO, etc.
∎ Provide leadership and strategic directions to the Supply Chain Management team through delivering a consistent, high quality and cost-effective solution to internal and external customers.
∎ Vendor enlistment: Local supplier, nourishing vendors for long-term business relationship.
∎ Collecting Price offer from various local supplier/vendor, preparing comparative statement.
∎ Able to prepare local procurement Bill of Quantity (BOQ) Independently.
∎ Coordinate with Technical team and other teams in the organization.
∎ Local Procurement: Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers
∎ Estimate and establish budgets for purchases
∎ Review all vendors and suppliers
∎ Maintain purchase records and other important data
∎ Negotiate pricing and supply contracts
∎ Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies
∎ Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
∎ Maintain and update a list of suppliers
∎ Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
∎ Work with team members to complete duties as needed
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
∎ Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
∎ Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary of motivation.
∎ Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
