Responsibilities & Context:
∎ MGI (Meghna Group of Industries) invites applications from competent & potential talents for the position of "Deputy Manager-Accounts" in order to perform and maintain relationships with BEZA (Bangladesh Export Zone Authority) and different govt. office. The expected hand working on this role will directly involve with regulatory & statutory part and must be multi-dimensional in terms of studying feasibility & scanning environmental issues of the Economic Zone. The incumbent will have to visit economic zones of MGI frequently and will report to GM –Accounts for his duties and responsibilities
∎ Draft and submit Import & Export permit for all imported and exported items including raw materials, spare parts, machineries, equipment etc under every units of Economic Zones
∎ Perform registration of new investors/ units in OSS (One Stop Service) after managing all the documents related to Project clearance, Building permit, Trade licenses, Electricity connection certificate, Occupancy certificate & commercial operations
∎ Process Visa recommendations, work permit & work permit extensions for foreigners.
∎ Correspond with BEZA (Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority) for all the issue related to Economic Zone and prepare pre- qualification license, Gazette publications etc
∎ Maintain communication with external vendors to facilitate in delivering EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) , ECC (Environmental Clearance Certificate), Factory License, Fire & Explosive license, Security Clearance and Visa Extensions for Economic Zone
∎ Assist in preparing and drafting different types of agreement such as lease agreement, MOU etc for local and foreign investors
∎ Attend different types of meeting in BEZA including building permit meeting, BOQ (Bill of Quality) meeting, work permit meeting etc
∎ Perform invoicing regularly to the unit investors under Economic Zone
∎ Maintain Database for all sorts of payments of Economic Zone related to IP (Import Permit), EP (Export Permit), ECC (Environmental Clearance Certificate), IOU and report monthly
