∎ Implementing compliance strategies, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to social, environmental, and labor laws.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with international labor standards, local labor laws, and buyer requirements.
∎ Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing, sustainability, health & safety, and social compliance programs.
∎ Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
∎ Liaise with external auditors, buyers, and certification bodies for compliance assessments and follow up on corrective action plans.
∎ Monitor factory compliance with laws related to wages, working hours, occupational health and safety, and environmental regulations.
∎ Organize training and awareness programs for employees on compliance, workplace ethics, and labor rights.
∎ Maintain and update all necessary compliance documentation and reports for audits and regulatory requirements.
∎ Lead the implementation of sustainability initiatives, including waste management, carbon footprint reduction, and energy-efficient production processes.
∎ Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and new compliance trends to enhance factory compliance.
∎ Coordinate with HR, production, and management teams to ensure a culture of ethical and sustainable compliance practices.
∎ Act as a key point of contact for buyers and certification bodies regarding factory compliance status and improvements.
∎ Experience in managing audits and working with buyers, regulators, and certification bodies.
∎ Strong understanding of environmental and sustainability compliance in textile manufacturing.
∎ In-depth knowledge of labor laws, social compliance standards, and international audit protocols (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, SA8000, etc.).
∎ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive compliance improvements.
