Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Financials consolidation of more than 300 projects including microfinance, enterprises and development projects and investment in subsidiaries and associates. Providing support in designing the complex functional process, implementing and managing ERP project from Finance & Accounts.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Play the lead role in financial closing process across the organisation including draw financial closing calendar/ plan, coordinate with stakeholders and closing books of accounts as per agreed timeline with management
∎ Drive adherence to organisation's financial governance policies in order to maintain accurate financial reporting and effective financial accounting processes.
∎ Preparation of monthly management accounts and explain monthly financial performance to top management for decision making.
∎ Drive all financial reporting analysis, such as the monthly balance sheet review and organisational financial reviews and other analysis for presentation and review to the top management.
∎ Preparation of annual accounts to be audited by external auditors including publication of annual report of the organisation.
∎ Financial Reporting and Consolidation to liaise with both internal and external auditors to resolve issues related to financial reporting and controls.
∎ Ensure routine and ad-hoc journals to complete financials, oversee and enhance accounting reconciliation process and quality throughout the organisation, conducting review meeting with accountants.
∎ Design and maintenance of chart of accounts, develop system generated report where applicable.
∎ Ensure compliance with IAS/ IFRS, taxation and other regulatory rules and regulation.
∎ Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions to senior managers.
∎ Play the lead role in the implementation of the ERP Projects finance modules including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cash management, payroll, fixed assets, projects and financial reporting.
∎ Gather requirements of Finance & Accounts and develop specifications to be included in the system. Process for the UAT and the Go Live preparation phase & provide support to the solution design of the ERP and lead the creation of process flows, work instruction, test scripts and end user training.
∎ Ensure the solution addresses requirements in the area of segregation of duties and internal controls.
∎ Support the data migration process from Finance & Account's point of view.
∎ Successfully on-board and off-board resources assigned to implementation and stabilization of the ERP.
∎ Manage the system integrator resources related to Finance to manage different areas, including the budget for the finance stream.
∎ Manage the project on aspects of Time, Budget, Issues and risks of all project phases and deliverables applicable to the Finance to manage domain.

∎ Willing to travel when necessary for the project.
∎ Minimum 08 years of business/ industry work experience preferably with a finance background and affinity with financials consolidation, IT and ERP Implementation.
