Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Major Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic:
∎ Contribute to ensuring the development, revision, expansion and sustenance of UCEP Bangladesh, it's programmes and service delivery at regional, national and international levels.
∎ To intensively collaborate with the organization's internal groups (for example, strategy & corporate affairs, research & development, monitoring & evaluation etc.) in a bid to help develop a coordinated sustainability plan.
∎ Contribute to strengthening business processes of UCEP Bangladesh and its entities at central and regional levels.
∎ In collaboration with relevant departments/teams like Information & Communication Technology and Business Solutions Department and other stakeholders, develop organization-wide and partnership-wide knowledge management strategy and policy.
∎ To develop and ensure implementation of Result Based Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, related MIS and other necessary tools considering UCEP Bangladesh's Theory of Change.
∎ To ensure necessary alignment of UCEP Bangladesh's organizational and programmatic documents (e.g. UCEP Strategies, Project Documents including Logical Framework, Project Proposals etc.) with UCEP Bangladesh's Theory of Change and support management in this regard.
∎ To orient and develop capacity of relevant staff at central and regional level on research methodologies and knowledge management.
∎ Resource Mobilization:
∎ Development and effective implementation of necessary tools, mechanisms and procedures for strengthening accountability, transparency, effectiveness and efficiency.
∎ Ensure development (both in English and Bangla) and effective implementation of communication strategy, guidelines, tools and mechanisms of UCEP Bangladesh.
∎ Play a lead role for local resource mobilization, national and international fundraising for UCEP Bangladesh's growth and sustainability.
∎ Develop and ensure implementation of corporate fundraising programs and monitor progress of fundraising drives at central and regional levels.
∎ Secure commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors.
∎ Establish effective fundraising mechanisms at regional levels.
∎ Contact corporate firms, representatives, government officials, or community leaders to increase awareness of organizational causes, activities, or needs.
∎ Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fundraising events.
∎ Develop, set and achieve annual targets for fundraising following UCEP Bangladesh's Business Plan, explore potential funding sources (government agencies, donors, CSR, private sectors, industries, foundations, charities, individuals etc.) within and outside the country and provide timely and relevant information and guidance to the management and relevant departments.
∎ Knowledge Management:
∎ To develop and maintain central knowledge repository at UCEP Bangladesh.
∎ To support regional offices in developing knowledge repository and in the sharing of relevant knowledge that leads to improvement in programme planning, monitoring, evaluation etc.
∎ To lead the knowledge management team to achieve concrete results.
∎ To maintain relevant data and information accessible and readily available as requested and required.
∎ To collaborate with different teams in publishing and sharing relevant information and knowledge for targeted audiences.
∎ To ensure that publications are crafted in that manner that add value and provoke internal and external thinking on UCEP Bangladesh programmes and its activities.
∎ Monitoring & Evaluation:
∎ To ensure appropriate monitoring and evaluation of UCEP Bangladesh's programmes in line with organizational vision, mission, values and goals.
∎ To orient and develop capacity of relevant staff at central and regional level on UCEP Bangladesh's Theory of Change and Result Based M&E Framework.
∎ To introduce necessary technology-based tools for ensuring effective and efficient real time data driven M&E system and develop capacity of relevant staff in this regard.
∎ Research & Development:
∎ To introduce necessary technology based tools for research and development and undertake necessary initiatives for developing capacity of relevant staff in this regard.
∎ To contribute to developing systems for Big Data Management including acquisition, data analysis, data quality assessments and reporting for development of key organizational and programmatic documents (e.g. Annual Report, Monthly Monitoring Report, Budgets, Project Documents, Donor Reports, Case Studies, UCEP Bangladesh's websites, social media, e-newsletter etc.).
∎ To contribute to developing and efficiently managing departmental(s) budget.
∎ To continuously update in regard to latest (national and international) developments in Tech-based solutions for Research and Development.
∎ Corporate Affairs:
∎ To develop/update relevant policy guidelines in the realm of corporate affairs.
∎ To assist in creating and developing contents for print and online advertising, email marketing, website and social media, press releases, bylined articles, corporate videos, internal meeting and marketing collateral by ensuring due adherence to brand style standard guidelines.
∎ To maintain leverage relationships with the media and influencers to communicate vision and mission of the organization to the right audiences at the right time to help achieve our stated and perceived goals.
∎ To systematically explore, review relevant information, news, documents, research reports from government, private sector, development partners, research and academic agencies etc. and to keep the SMT updated and to share valuable inputs in decision making/policy formulation.
∎ People Management:
∎ To coach and mentor team members at varying levels and career stages to maximize each individual's growth and potential.
∎ To actively take part in the evaluation of relevant staff performance.
∎ To regularly arrange coordination meeting involving intra and inter team members to facilitate the smooth operations of the departments under supervision.
∎ To facilitate staff adherence to organizational culture, rules, policies and guidelines etc.
∎ To facilitate team cohesiveness among the employees under supervision.
∎ To initiate necessary processes e.g. performance appraisal, inquiry etc. as required and/or requested.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by supervisor as and when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 05 years as Manager or equivalent relevant position in a large organization.
∎ Excellent command of communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skill & conversant with MS Office package, CRM software, graphics design, social media management, relevant product development software, tools etc.
∎ Trained in SPSS other M&E related latest software and tools etc.
∎ Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing effective M&E and Knowledge Management system for a large organization.
∎ Demonstrated experience of successful fundraising for a large organization.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable and team player.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
∎ Ensure efficiency, effectiveness and strict confidentiality in every activity.
∎ Age limit for the applicant would be 50 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
