Educational Requirements:
∎ Degree in Data Science / Computer Science / Economics / Development Studies / Public Policy or any other relevant subject.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor and manage the Data Strategy Development portfolio, providing assistance when needed and restructuring the portfolio based on the performance of investments.
∎ Provide knowledge leadership on the role of data analytics, and particularly machine learning, in the provision of financial services.
∎ Keep abreast of major trends and developments in the world of data science, data engineering and their pertinence to the financial sector.
∎ Prepare reports and presentations for investors, donors and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Contribute to the preparation of knowledge products on the Data Strategy Development portfolio, especially high-impact investments, supporting both above-the-line and below-the-line communication efforts.
∎ Maintain strong relationships with clients and wider stakeholders

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years of experience working with data analytics, preferably with a focus on financial service providers
∎ Thorough understanding of data analytics with a solid grasp of the return on investment of data-related projects.
∎ Ideally, prior experience working the IT infrastructure of large financial institutions.
∎ Strong knowledge or demonstrated willingness to learn a coding language, such as Python or R.
∎ Ability to provide technical support to partner banks, NBFIs and FIs to achieve project milestones, overcome challenges and showcase best practices.
∎ Excellent portfolio management skills, including monitoring of progress, financial management and development of risk assessments.
∎ Excellent report-writing and communication skills in English.
∎ Willingness to travel to both grantee offices and field to support the project.
∎ Language skills: Fluency in English and Bengali.
