∎ Main purpose of the role
∎ As CP Case Management Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing of CP case management and ensure maintain of confidential filing system. You will provide guidance on case management to case workers and provide direct support to complicated cases. Supervise and support mobile teams on appropriated referral.

∎ Overall Objectives (scope)

∎ Capacity building; provide training and coaching CP case management to case workers in CFSs.
∎ Supervise and support 14 mobile teams on appropriated referral
∎ Case Management; close monitor GBV case management and provide direct assist to complicated GBV cases
∎ Maintain confidential case filing system
∎ Specific Responsibilities
∎ Perform other duties, as appropriate and requested by supervisor
∎ Position Reports to: CP Case Management Coordinator
∎ Position directly supervises: Mobile team staffs and camp-based case workers
∎ Budget responsibility: N/A
∎ Identify capacity building needs training for camp based case workers and mobile team staffs
∎ Organize weekly case management meeting with all case workers
∎ Meet regularly with Child Protection Groups; follow up on identified cases of vulnerability (which may include separation from adult relatives, mental or physical disability), abuse, neglect, child marriage, trafficking, etc.
∎ Ensure each child is able to access the necessary services (medical, nutrition, police, legal, etc.) via the referral pathway.
∎ As needed (especially in cases of separated or unaccompanied children), provide appropriate dignity or comfort items to affected children.
∎ Conduct family tracing to reunite children separated from their parents or other relatives, which may include liaising with local authorities and/or other child protection agencies operating.
∎ Report to Protection Technical Advisor any identified trends or common risks, and recommend steps to address or mitigate them where possible.
∎ Identify any issues with the referral pathway and work with RI's CP staff and local authorities to address them.
∎ Work in close collaboration with the community mobilisers to strengthen our relationship with the community and to strengthen the referral system.
∎ Work with the child protection team to ensure close links between case management and our work with community based child protection mechanism
∎ Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including community members, community leaders and families
∎ Submit weekly case management reports and ensure that information is kept up to date
∎ Coordinate with other agencies offering case management services to children on referral and transfer of cases
∎ Any other responsibilities as requested by supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience working with NGO in Cox's bazar is preferable
∎ Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
∎ Previous experience with CP case management and case filing system strongly preferred
∎ Knowledge of psychological first aid and psychosocial support, an asset
∎ Experience training/supervising junior staff or volunteers preferred
∎ Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
∎ Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
∎ Enthusiasm to learn
∎ Optimistic and friendly
∎ Flexibility
∎ Language Skills:
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in Bangali and English
∎ Good command in Rohingya, an asset
